Winner Check
This was another project I designed while working at Aristocrat Technologies. It was a jackpot check for the popular Zorro machine. This was a particularly difficult job, because not only did I have to incorporate Aristocrat's brand standards, the company that owned the trademark to Zorro had their own brand guidelines to follow.
The rolled parchment background came to me because of the time period Zorro is actually set in. The iconic image of Zorro on his horse served well as a ghosted background, and the two logos fit well in their brand guideline positions. Overall, I really liked this project, and the check is still being used today, will a couple of hundred people proudly displaying it on their walls, for a reminder of when they hit that pot.
